Biography

Fengchao Xiong, an associate professor at Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Shandong University in 2014 and his doctoral degree from Zhejiang University in 2019. He visited Wuhan University, Griffith University, and the University of Macau in 2011-2012, 2017-2018, and 2021-2023, respectively. His primary research focuses on hyperspectral vision and remote sensing image analysis. He has published more than 10 papers in top-tier journals such as IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP) and IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (TGRS), including one highly cited paper. He has received awards such as the Best Reviewer from IEEE TGRS, the Best Student Paper Award from DICTA, and recognition as an outstanding supervisor in the China Graduate Artificial Intelligence Innovation Contest. He has led projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth and General Projects, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, Nanjing University of Science and Technology Youth Talent Cultivation Project, 173 Project Sub-Project, and Key Laboratory Open Project. He also serves as a Topical Associate Editor for IEEE TGRS, Guest Editor for Remote Sensing, Guest Associate Editor for IET Computer Vision, and Area Chair for ICME.I am actively seeking excellent students to work with me on machine learning and computer vision.
